Q
:
What exactly does "Factory Reconditioned" mean?

A:

We sell only Class A units, factory reconditioned by Kodak to new condition. They come with a full one year Kodak warranties.

Class A Definition:
What this means is it was returned by a retailer to Kodak for reasons other than being defective. Kodak takes these units, tests them in the same manner as they do new cameras and they certify them as new condition units. They however can not resell them as new so they are dubbed reconditioned. Since they do not have a defective history and are essentially new units, they carry the same 1 year warranty as a new item and ship with the same accessories. They function as new and are generally identical in appearance to new units.  Reconditioned Kodak cameras are an excellent way to save significantly from retail while still having the same exact warranty.  Please take a look at our feedback to see what our thousands of satisfied customers have had to say about our Kodak products.

Additionally unlike many sellers on eBay we are an authorized Kodak reseller and your 1 year Kodak warranty will be honored if you should ever need warranty service.  Purchasing from non-authorized resellers typically means your warranty will not be honored.
